Preparation for Baptism

Evangelist Perdue is preparing the baptism candidates for baptism in Jesus name. Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.  Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other:  For there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Baptism

The Lord instructed Evangelist Perdue on how to baptize her candidates.  First, candidates must place their left hand to their nose.  Second, candidates bring their right hand to their left shoulder forming an "X" across their chest.  Candidates are submerged under the water with assistance from the deacon.
